The Spring Community Garage Sale

Boistfort Valley Spring Festival
May 14, Baw Faw Grange, 995 Boistfort Road, Curtis; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The 13th Boistfort Valley Spring Festival will have an indoor/outdoor arts and crafts fair, plant sale, hot dinner, and lots of pies and other desserts for sale. There will also be a raffle with a handmade quilt and springtime photo booth. Come to the beautiful Boistfort Valley and stock up for your garden this year.

The Morton Farmers Market is held every Saturday on the lawn in front of the Bob Lyle Community Center.

May 14 in downtown Tenino off Sussex Avenue; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Tenino Farmers Market will run every Saturday until September 24.
Centralia Masonic Temple 100th Anniversary Celebration
May 14 at the Centralia Masonic Temple at North Pearl and Magnolia Streets in the Centralia Historic District; 2 p.m.
The Centralia Masonic Temple has reached the century mark. Since the Masonic Organization still owns the building and Freemasons continue to meet in the Third Floor Lodge Room, Washington Freemason Grand Master M. W. Cameron Bailey will rededicate the cornerstone of the temple. . The ceremony will take place at the temple entrance on Magnolia Street. This section of Magnolia will be closed to traffic for the event. The public is invited to come and visit the building and enjoy refreshments after the rededication ceremony, which is a Masonic tradition.
Cruzin’ at the museum
May 14 at the Lewis County Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis; 3 p.m. until dusk
This is an event produced and sponsored by the Veterans Memorial Museum. It is open to all car clubs and individuals. All types of cars are welcome. There will be live bands, prizes, trophies, a monthly costume theme, contests, food trucks, vendors and, of course, acres of vehicles. Another factor will be when the sun goes down a drive-in movie will air. The event takes place every second Saturday of the month until August. Swede Hall’s Sunday Dances are back after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. They take place on the first and third Sunday of each month. There will be a live band at each event.
