Fannin County Commissioners Court Approves Fannin Lake Facility Lease Renewal

Fannin County, Texas — Fannin County Judge Randy Moore presided over a regular meeting of the Fannin County Commissioners Court held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, attended by Commissioners Edwina Lane, Jerry Magness and Dean Lackey; AJ Self was away to be with his family as they celebrate a new baby.

The meeting opened with an invocation from Judge Moore and the pledges were conducted by Major James Manis (Retired).

The Fannin County Commissioners Court has approved the renewal of the Lake Fannin facility rental agreement from July 2, 2022 to July 1, 2023. The security deposit to rent the historic Lake Fannin Lodge has been increased from $150 to $200 .

The Fannin County Commissioners Court approved payment of the bills.

The Fannin County Commissioners Court selected Sanderson Survey Company as the survey company to conduct a land survey for the future Fannin County Justice Center, not to exceed $8,000.

The Fannin County Commissioners Court convened in executive session at 9:10 a.m. to deliberate personnel matters regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or discharge of an officer or employee; or (2) to hear a complaint or accusation against an officer or employee – regarding county positions and salaries.

The Fannin County Commissioners Court reconvened in regular session at 9:48 a.m. to announce that no action has been taken regarding the executive staff session.

The Fannin County Commissioners Court filed an agenda item calling for the selection of a health insurance plan for Fannin County employees. Actions will be taken next week.
