Hotel cleaner accused of stealing services | Local News

MEYERSDALE, Pa. — A cleaning helper at a Meyersdale hotel has been charged with theft, accusing him of ushering two people into the hotel they were staying at without paying, authorities said.

Meyersdale Police have charged Patricia Mae Mishler, 44, of Meyersdale, with theft of services.

According to the complaint affidavit, Mishler was a housekeeper at the Morguen Tool Co. hotel when she allegedly allowed 37-year-old Glenn Cosby of Philadelphia and 27-year-old Alisha Marie Shuck of Johnstown to enter the hotel. building on the 100 block of Center Street. May 13.

Mishler allegedly gave Cosby the room keys and the passcode to enter the hotel, where he stayed for four nights without paying. Cosby allegedly stayed in the Bear Room and the Hoover Suite before anyone found out and he was arrested, according to the affidavit.

Cosby was charged with theft of services totaling $500.

Meyersdale Police found Cosby and Shuck in the Hoover suite.

Shuck was charged with theft of services totaling $200 for going one night without paying.

The trio will face charges before District Judge Douglas Bell of Meyersdale.
