In Baltal, the Lieutenant Governor inaugurated a fully equipped 70-bed DRDO Hospital for quality healthcare services to Amarnath pilgrims.
The hospital, funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will house facilities such as X-rays, general ward, OPD, intensive care, oxygen ward, pharmacy, laboratory and medical center. ultrasound.
“Better coordination between different agencies is of the utmost importance for better facilities, smooth travel and spiritual experience for Yatris. All departments involved in running Yatra must ensure the best possible facilities as a high number of devotees are expected for the annual pilgrimage,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
