Popular Rocky Mountain tourist destination Banff National Park is supporting international visitors leaving Canada by opening its first private COVID testing site in town, Go Quick Test.
Operating seven days a week and supporting the PCR tests required for international travel, Go Rapid Test is located on the first floor of the Bear Street Mall (220 Bear Street, Unit 108).
Go Rapid tests do not require an appointment or reservation, but prepayment is required on their website before showing up on the test site. No cash payment is accepted on site. Results are emailed within 24-36 hours of testing. Go Rapid Test charges $ 195 CAD per PCR test. For more information see https://www.gorapidtest.ca/collections/banff or by email at [email protected]
In addition, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts offers certified PCR testing for international travel exclusive to their onsite guests at all locations in the Canadian Rockies, including the Fairmont Banff Springs, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. All guests must pre-book their test kit through the hotel reception prior to arriving in Canada, as each property has a limited number based on prior purchase. The test kits are then provided at reception upon check-in. The price of the Fairmont PCR test is CAD $ 129. Results are provided within 48 hours.
